NGO Accountability to PLHIV - Find out more at the IAC!

The Code Secretariat is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a skills-building workshop on MIPA at the International AIDS Conference in Mexico City this summer. Framed by the principles of the NGO Code of Good Practice, the workshop will provide an interactive platform for highlighting evidence-based good practice & discussing the issues, obstacles and ways of successfully involving PLHIV in the response, with a special focus on HIV positive women and girls.

Co-facilitators Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+) and the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (ICW) will help participants identify ‘next steps' for improving MIPA within their organisations and programmes using the Code Project's new MIPA Self-Assessment Tool. The workshop will help participants measure where their programmes stand along the lines of good practice and develop an action plan on how to improve MIPA in their organisations.

We encourage you to attend this session -not only will it be a fantastic opportunity to dive into this issue, but it will also be a chance to network with other Code signatories and supporters.

Are you hosting an event at the IAC?  - If so, let us help you promote it! Just email the details to info@hivcode.org and we will include  it on the Code website.
