Building Partnerships for Integrated Programming

We work in partnerships to maximise the access of PLHIV and affected communities to an integrated range of programmes to meet their needs.

We need to focus on our own unique expertise, while working in partnerships with organisations that can address the needs of PLHIV and affected communities. Effective referral systems and partnership initiatives between HIV programmes and development and humanitarian programmes ensure that PLHIV and affected communities have easy access to the range of services and programmes that are appropriate to meet their needs. Measures to address the material and psycho-social needs of PLHIV and their families, partners, dependants and carers are also considered in the section on Treatment, care and support.
